We’re working with a genuinely independent small animal practice with two established clinics in the Surrey countryside, around Cranleigh and Newdigate.
They’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with around 2+ years’ experience, to join a supportive team where you’ll be trusted clinically, encouraged to develop your own interests and given plenty of variety.
A Bit Different From Your Standard GP Caseload
Alongside a loyal first-opinion client base, the practice works closely with charities and the police, bringing some genuinely interesting and unusual cases through the doors.
You’ll have the freedom to work cases up properly, with access to:
Surgical facilities
Diagnostic imaging
Ultrasound
Endoscopy
Dentistry
In-house hospitalisation
The practice is RCVS accredited and also a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre, with experienced VetGDP advisors within the team.
Development & Autonomy
There’s a big emphasis here on giving vets clinical support without micromanaging them.
If there’s an area you want to develop, they’ll actively support you in building your experience and shaping the role around your clinical interests.
Flexibility
Ideally they’re looking for someone full-time, but they’re very open to discussing flexibility for the right person.
You’ll also receive 6 weeks' holiday, alongside support for your ongoing professional development and more.
