Looking for a role where you can keep progressing clinically, work alongside a solid team and have access to genuinely impressive facilities?
I’m working with a modern, purpose-built small animal practice in Rotherham, within easy reach of Sheffield, looking to add another Veterinary Surgeon to their established team.
For anyone relocating to the area, Sheffield is a big plus. You can have the restaurants, social scene, culture and everything that comes with living in a major city, while commuting out to a well-equipped practice with plenty of clinical support around you.
The Practice
You’ll be joining an established 3-4 vet team, backed by a supportive nursing and wider practice team.
There’s a good mix of experience within the clinic, with colleagues holding a range of clinical interests and several working towards further qualifications. So, while they’re looking for someone comfortable with general practice, there’s still plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and bounce cases off the wider team.

- 9 consultation rooms
- 4 operating theatres

- 128-slice CT scanner
- Separate dog and cat wards
- Multiple preparation areas
It’s an excellent setup for a vet who enjoys a varied first-opinion caseload and wants access to the equipment and team to properly work cases up.
Who Would Suit It?
Ideally, you’ll have around 3+ years of GP experience and be comfortable with routine consultations, preventative healthcare and managing medical and surgical cases.
More importantly, they’re looking for someone who works well within a team, communicates confidently with clients and genuinely wants to become part of the practice long-term.
Visa sponsorship is available, so I’m very happy to speak with vets already in the UK who require continued sponsorship, as well as those considering relocating to the UK for the right opportunity.
