Full or part-time • No OOH • Flexible hours • Supportive, forward-thinking team

Looking for a role where you are genuinely valued, supported and encouraged to grow, paying up to £60,000 (FTE, DOE)? This is one worth a proper look.

The team is looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them. Whether you are medically or surgically biased, full or part-time, they will shape the role around you, with real flexibility, no out-of-hours, and a team that works hard to make sure you enjoy coming in each day.

Why Liverpool:

Excellent patient care and genuine client service sit at the heart of what this team does, and it shows. It is a close-knit, friendly practice that clients locally consistently single out for warm, attentive, personal care. Clinical leadership is strong too, with a University of Liverpool teaching background behind the team, so you would be joining somewhere that values doing things properly and helping you learn.

The setup backs that up: capability in orthopaedics and dentistry, an in-house laboratory, and separate ward and isolation units, so you have what you need to practise the way you are proud of. They are just as passionate about development, so if you have an idea to improve how things are done, or you want to specialise or expand your clinical skills, they want to hear it and they will help make it happen.

What's on offer

  • Salary up to £60,000 based on experience (FTE)
  • Generous CPD allowance, paid CPD days and full support for your interests
  • Flexible working options to suit your lifestyle
  • No out-of-hours
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • RCVS fees paid
  • Genuine career progression thanks to a varied caseload
  • Staff benefits

They'd love to hear from vets who

  • Ideally have at least 2-3 years' post-qualification experience
  • Put patient care at the heart of everything
  • Communicate confidently and compassionately
  • Enjoy building relationships with clients
  • Want to grow, develop and contribute their own ideas
