Salary up to £65,000 DOE | 4-Day Week | Accommodation Provided Initially | Certificate Support
Are you an experienced Small Animal Vet looking for a role with more variety, stronger case continuity and a genuinely different lifestyle?
We are working with a well-established IVC Evidensia practice group on the Isle of Man, who are looking to welcome an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants the clinical interest of a varied caseload, the support of a large experienced team, and the lifestyle benefits that come with island living.
The Practice
This is a large, well-established veterinary group with 5 branches covering the whole island, offering a broad range of veterinary services across the Isle of Man.
You would be joining a supportive team of:
11 Veterinary Surgeons
16 Veterinary Nurses
3 certificate holders already in practice
2 further certificates currently being undertaken
The team offers a strong mix of experience, collaboration and clinical support, making this a great environment for a vet who wants to keep developing while still having autonomy in their day-to-day work.
The Role
This is a varied small animal role with excellent case continuity and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients and patients.
You can expect:
A varied small animal caseload
Excellent case continuity
Support from an experienced clinical team
Certificate support encouraged
4-day working week
Other working patterns considered
OOH on-call rota requirement
This could suit a vet who enjoys proper first opinion work, continuity, client relationships and the chance to work cases up, while still having the backing of a larger group.
Why the Isle of Man?
The Isle of Man offers something very different from the usual mainland UK practice move.
With beautiful beaches, open countryside, a strong community feel and a slower pace of life, it can be a brilliant option for someone who wants a better lifestyle without stepping away from good clinical work.
The Isle of Man also offers an attractive tax position, with income tax bands capped at 21%, which can be a real draw for vets considering relocation.
Package
Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
4-day week
Alternative working patterns considered
Accommodation provided for an initial settling-in period
