A well established small animal practice in Chesterfield is looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to their team. The clinic is led by two experienced vet owners with a combined 40+ years in practice, offering strong clinical leadership within a supportive, well run environment.
The Role
This is a full time position working a 40 hour week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. The practice is well structured to support both clinical standards and work life balance, including:
15 minute routine consults
30 minute consults for PTS
Consults finishing 30 minutes before closing
You will be involved in a good mix of consults and surgery, with the autonomy to manage cases and build client relationships.
The Team
You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team made up of 4 vets, 6 nurses, 5 client care advisors and an experienced practice manager. The culture is genuinely supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork and enjoying the day to day.
Facilities
The clinic is modern, light and spacious, equipped with digital x ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and in house lab facilities.
What They’re Looking For
A vet with at least 2 years’ experience
Confident in both medicine and routine surgery
Strong communication skills and a calm, approachable manner
A positive, team focused attitude
The Package
Salary £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
