Part-Time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon | Wicklow | 1 Hour from Dublin
An established independent small animal practice in Wicklow is looking to welcome a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, close-knit team.
This role would suit a vet who enjoys first-opinion companion animal practice and is looking for a supportive environment with flexibility, strong clinical standards, and a varied caseload.
The Role
You’ll manage a mix of consultations and routine small animal surgery, with scope to develop particular interests such as dentistry or internal medicine. Clinical support is available from experienced colleagues, including a senior vet with additional qualifications. Some experience is preferred, as occasional sole charge will form part of the position.
Working Pattern
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Saturday mornings on a shared rota (9:30am–12pm)
- No out-of-hours
- Rota negotiable

A modern, well-equipped independent clinic with in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography and dedicated surgical facilities. The team is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on patient welfare and client care.

About You
- VCI registered or eligible
- Some post-graduate small animal experience preferred
- Confident in first-opinion consults and routine surgery
- Team-oriented and approachable

- Salary €60,000–€70,000 DOE FTE
