The Clinic
Located in a busy retail hub in Pakenham, this well-established practice benefits from high client footfall and a growing caseload. The clinic is modern, spacious, and fully equipped to support a wide range of cases.
Open Monday to Saturday (no Sundays, no after-hours, no on-call)
Large, welcoming reception and waiting area
Two consult rooms and a sterile operating theatre
Digital X-ray and dental X-ray
Full in-house pathology capabilities
Regular visits from medical and surgical specialists
Strong referral network with nearby hospitals
You’ll be joining an experienced team including a senior vet, skilled nurses, and a knowledgeable business manager, all working together in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
This position can suit either:
A Senior Veterinarian ready to lead and influence clinic direction, or
An Associate Veterinarian looking to grow within a well-supported environment
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality GP veterinary care including consults, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics
Managing a varied and interesting caseload
Building strong, lasting client relationships
Supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate
Contributing to a positive, team-focused clinic culture
(Senior role) Assisting with leadership, clinical standards, and overall clinic performance

About You
Qualified Veterinarian with relevant registration
Minimum of 5 years’ experience (for senior position)
Confident in general practice with strong clinical standards
A team player with a positive, approachable attitude
Passionate about patient care and client relationships
Interest in mentoring or leadership (for senior applicants)
