An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join a highly respected, well-established veterinary team in South Australia. This role offers a balanced mix of consulting and surgery within a supportive, collaborative environment that prioritises both clinical excellence and staff wellbeing.

You’ll be joining a large, experienced team of veterinarians and nurses who work closely together to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace culture.

About the Role

This position offers a balanced 50/50 split between consulting and surgery, with strong daily support from an experienced clinical and nursing team.

You will be based primarily at one site, with occasional shifts at a nearby sister practice.

The role includes:

  • 4 days per week
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays
  • Flexible working arrangements where possible
  • Well-supported shifts with multiple nurses and support staff
  • Regular team meetings, training, and case discussions

About You

  • BVSc (or equivalent) with at least 3 years’ small animal experience
  • Confident in both consulting and routine surgery
  • Strong communicator with excellent client relationship skills
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive approach
  • Able to work calmly in a busy clinical environment
  • Committed to ongoing learning and professional development
