An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established and highly respected veterinary team in Canberra. With a strong reputation for exceptional patient care and outstanding staff retention, this practice offers a collaborative and supportive environment where veterinarians can thrive.
The team consists of more than 30 professionals, including veterinarians, nurses, animal attendants, and administrative staff, all committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care.
The Role
- Full-time position with part-time options available for the right candidate
- No after-hours requirements
- Opportunities to manage complex surgical, dental, and medical cases
- Involvement in clinical decision-making and case management
- Mentoring and supporting junior veterinarians and nurses
- Collaborative team environment with strong peer support
Facilities & Equipment
- Digital radiography
- Flexible and rigid endoscopy
- Dedicated dental suite
- Full IDEXX in-house laboratory
- Doppler ultrasound, ECG, pulse oximetry, PetMap and Doppler blood pressure monitoring
About You
- Minimum 5 years' clinical experience
- Eligible for full veterinary registration in the ACT
- Committed to delivering a high standard of patient and client care
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
