An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to take on a Clinical Lead role within a well-established 24/7 small animal hospital in South Wales.
This is a predominantly clinical leadership position, ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring colleagues and influencing clinical standards while remaining hands-on with a varied and challenging caseload.
The role
You'll work closely with the wider team to support clinical development, drive high standards and help shape the future of the hospital. Protected time is provided for leadership responsibilities, accounting for approximately 10% of your working week.
The caseload combines first-opinion, hospital medicine, surgery, inpatient and emergency work — giving you plenty of variety and opportunities to develop your own clinical interests.
- Up to 4 days per week – 38 hours over 4 days
- 1 in 5 weekends – one 9-hour shift, mainly consulting
- Just one 12-hour bank holiday shift per year

On offer
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- 6.6 weeks' paid holiday, including Bank Holidays
