An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to step into a Senior Veterinary Nurse position within a busy, supportive practice in West Sussex.
This is a fantastic role for a confident nurse who enjoys combining hands-on clinical work with leadership, mentoring and helping a team thrive.
The role
As Senior Nurse, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting colleagues, managing rotas and helping maintain the highest standards of patient and client care.
You'll still be very much involved clinically, with a varied mix of theatre, prep and nurse consulting duties.
- 4-day working week
- Shifts between 8am–6pm or 9am–7pm
- 1 in 8 weekends, with time off in lieu
- 1 in 14 weeks on the second on-call rota
On offer
- £32,000–£35,000 DOE
- 6 weeks' paid holiday, including Bank Holidays
- £600 CPD allowance
- RCVS membership and an additional professional membership paid
- VDS cover
About you
You'll be an experienced RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong clinical nursing skills and the confidence to support and motivate those around you. A Clinical Coaching qualification is desirable, although support is available for someone willing to work towards it.
