Location: Dublin, Ireland
Type: Full Time (part-time applicants considered)
Salary: €32,000 – €35,000 DOE, plus benefits package

We are representing a progressive, multi-site small animal veterinary group in Dublin that is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for education and mentoring. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on clinical work with the training and development of the next generation of veterinary professionals.

The role
In this position, you will:

  • Mentor and supervise Animal Care Assistants, Student Veterinary Nurses, and newly qualified RVNs

  • Deliver practical, in-house training to support clinical and professional growth

  • Work alongside a supportive veterinary team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care

  • Balance your training responsibilities with active involvement in the day-to-day clinical caseload

About you
You will be:

  • Currently registered (or eligible for registration) with the Veterinary Council of Ireland

  • An excellent communicator with strong organisational skills

  • Confident in making sound clinical decisions and providing guidance to others

  • Passionate about fostering a positive learning culture within practice

Previous experience in mentoring or clinical instruction is advantageous, but not essential for the right candidate with a genuine interest in developing others.

What’s on offer

  • Competitive salary of €32,000–€35,000 depending on experience

  • €1000 sign-on bonus

  • CPD allowance and support for professional development

  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoptive leave benefits

  • Private healthcare and gym contribution

  • Generous staff discounts

If you’re an RVN who thrives on inspiring others, enjoys a hands-on approach to training, and wants to make a real difference in both patient care and team development, we’d like to hear from you.
