If you’re a highly experienced Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse ready to take on a pivotal role within a dynamic hospital environment equipped with advanced technology, this opportunity may be exactly what you’ve been working toward.
In this full-time position, you’ll play a key role within a large, bustling hospital that manages both first-opinion cases and a significant volume of internal referrals. You’ll support multiple departments—including theatre, wards, consults, and ECC—and act as an essential anchor for the team when senior departmental leads are away. With a diverse caseload, strong clinical standards, and continuous investment in equipment, you’ll never find yourself standing still.
You’ll be part of an impressive multidisciplinary team of veterinary surgeons, fellow RVNs, students, VCAs, and a dedicated front-of-house crew. The hospital offers exceptional diagnostic capabilities, including CT, a fully equipped laboratory, and access to surgeons who routinely perform advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures. Every day brings a new challenge—and the support to meet it with confidence.
The rota follows a four-day week, including a 1:6 weekend rotation with TOIL and up to three bank holidays per year. While there is an on-call component, this is strictly last-resort thanks to the robust night team already in place. The hospital is easily accessed by public transport.
