About the Role
This is a full-time position ideal for an RVN who loves varied general practice work and the continuity of care that comes with building strong client relationships. You’ll be joining a warm and well-established team, guided by an experienced lead vet who has cared for generations of local pets.
As the sole RVN on site, you’ll take ownership of nursing standards, help develop student nurses, and play a key role in shaping the overall practice culture.
Your rota provides balance and predictability:

40 hours per week

1:4 Saturday rotation
-
1:10 Sunday rotation at a nearby 24-hour hospital
-
1 bank holiday per year

No on-call duties
You’ll also benefit from the support of a nearby 24-hour hospital equipped with advanced imaging including CT, ensuring seamless clinical backup when cases require further investigation or OOH care.
The practice itself is bright, spacious and designed for efficient workflow, featuring a well-appointed consult room, dedicated theatre, kennels and an in-house lab area.
