We at Lloyd & Cowan are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their fantastic team in a small animal hospital.
About them and the role
This full time permanent position is in a busy fast paced, long established veterinary hospital in Dublin City Centre. The modern hospital is equipped with top of the range technology to ensure exceptional patient care, including Ultrasound, X-Ray, In-House Blood Machines and fully computerized laboratory.
The role involves a mix of clinical and surgical duties with some minor reception duties from time to time. Your daily responsibilities include prepping for surgical procedures, anaesthetic support, patient recovery, pharmacy work, restraint & handling, client management and other clinical duties.
Rota
The current shift patterns are: 40 hours per week; mornings 9am-1pm and evenings 2pm-6pm alternating with mornings 10am-2pm and evenings 3pm-7pm. There is no OOH with this role.
There is a 1 in 3 rota for weekends, with limited workload on the weekend shifts and a half day shift during the week.
