​We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their wonderful team.
They have a wide range of cases that make every day both challenging and rewarding. They encourage their nurses to be fully involved in all aspects of nursing and to use their skills to the fullest. 

Role:
Their nurses will move between theatre, inpatients, lab and occasionally, nurse consultations. They will work alongside qualified vets and nurses with a wide range of knowledge, interests and further qualifications.

Ideally, the successful candidate will work between the main hospital and some of the smaller branches in the area that are a short distance away.

This role open to both full and part time applicants looking for more flexible hours, they know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and they want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. Although there aren’t any out of hours, there is a requirement to work weekends which are 1:6 with time off in lieu. 

Salary:

The salary for this role is up to £29,000 depending on experience. There is also a welcome bonus of up to £2,500.

About them:

Their main hospital is based near Birmingham. It is just a short drive into Birmingham City Centre or if you prefer to explore the great outdoors then there are some lovely outside spaces only a short drive away such as Saltwells nature reserve, Kinver Edge or the Clent Hills. 
They have a large and enthusiastic team spanning over 7 surgeries. Their vets have a variety of interests and hold certificates in medicine, surgery, cardiology, imaging and exotic patients. Some of their nurses hold certificates in exotics and zoo medicine, feline nursing and ECC too. They offer on-site CT scanner, MRI, ultrasounds, dental x-rays, endoscopy, K-laser and laboratory. We encourage continual development and will support you with further qualifications.

Applicant Requirements:

They would love to hear from an RVN who is competent in all areas of the nursing role such as; theatre, inpatient care, nurse consults and laboratory duties.
