Our client that we are delighted to be working with are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their amazing team on a full/part time basis. Their nursing team are fully utilised to their potential; offering a varied and challenging role which will include prep/theatre patient involvement (e.g., IV placement in all patients, blood taking, laboratory work, radiography, dentistry, and surgery assist). They also have designated ward rotation for improved in-patient care and routine consultation RVN clinics. 

Rota:

Working 37.5 hours per week (full time but part time hours also available)
Working across 3-5 days
1:5 weeknights inpatient care only shared with a vet
1:5 Saturdays (8:30am-1:00pm inpatient care shared with a vet) - with an option of staying on site when on call as accommodation is available.
No OOH

Salary:

Up to £30,000 negotiable D.O.E.

Relocation package of up to £5,000

This practice has a beautiful, light, purpose-designed, spacious building to work in. Located between the cultural and historical cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Great colleagues, a nursing team which is fully utilised and supported with VNAs. They are a training practice with excellent facilities and equipment - digital X-ray, latest laboratory equipment, Sevoflurane and Humphrey ADE anaesthesia.

Applicant Requirements:

Must be a qualified veterinary nurse and on the RCVS register. The successful applicant will need to be competent in monitoring anaesthetics, venepuncture, taking/processing radiographs, performing routine lab procedures and providing care for hospitalised patients. They fully support and fund additional certification.
