The Veterinary Hospital requires an experienced or recently graduated veterinarian to join our 8 vet hospital.
How would you like to practice medicine where the pet and the client are the focus? We practice with true principals of quality medicine, where “best practice” isn’t a guise for performing more procedures or ensuring a practice managers performance incentives. Caring for the pet and helping the client to care for their loved ones is our entire motivation.
Our recent renovations have created a beautiful practice for both our clients and our staff which has significantly increased our clientele. Our practice is progressive and is focussed on high quality medicine and surgery. Our entire motivation is helping our patients and their owners.
Our vets have strong interests in multiple disciplines- oncology, ultrasonography, orthopaedic surgery, dentistry and feline medicine. We have endeavoured to have the equipment to support good quality medicine, including digital standard and dental radiography, ultrasound, rigid and flexible endoscopy, complete in-house bloods, oxygen cages, tonometry, amongst others. Our staff have been with us for many years to provide a friendly and stable workplace- most of our staff have been with us for over 10 years.
The position is for a full time or part time experienced veterinarian. We are happy and able to be flexible with hours as needed. The job encompasses no after hours, no public holidays, no sole charge, 4 weeks per year holiday pay and 1 week study leave. Further education is encouraged and financial help with course fees is often offered. Salary is well above award and dependant on experience and ability. Recent graduates will be supported with allocated mentor times, vet rounds and support in surgery.
