A well-established small animal hospital in coastal Florida is looking to welcome an experienced Part-Time Veterinarian to its collaborative and long-standing team.
This is a great opportunity for a vet seeking a balanced GP role within a modern, well-equipped environment, working alongside a supportive team that genuinely enjoys what they do. The clinic has built a strong reputation locally for delivering high-quality patient care and excellent client service, with a loyal and engaged client base.
The role would suit a confident GP veterinarian comfortable with routine consults, surgery, and client communication. This position is not ideally suited to new graduates and would be better matched to someone able to work with a level of autonomy within a busy first opinion setting.
The practice itself is a spacious, state-of-the-art facility with:
8 exam rooms
In-house laboratory and pharmacy
Double surgical suite
Digital radiography suite
Dedicated treatment area
Separate feline, canine, and ICU wards
The caseload includes dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles, with services ranging from wellness and preventative care through to surgery, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostics, laser surgery, and acupuncture.
The rota:
2-3 days per week. The schedule ideally covers Thursdays and Fridays, along with the first and last Saturday of each month, offering consistency while still allowing excellent work-life balance. But there is flexibility for the right doctor.
Location:
Based on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Bradenton offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle with easy access to some of the state’s best beaches, waterfront dining, and year-round sunshine.
The area has a strong community feel, a lower cost of living compared to many major Florida cities, and plenty to do outside of work including boating, fitness, restaurants, and outdoor activities. It also sits conveniently between Sarasota and Tampa, giving access to larger city amenities while still maintaining a more laid-back atmosphere.
