A fantastic opportunity is available for a Part-Time Small Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established and supportive practice in regional Victoria. Offering just 15 hours per week across two days, this role is perfect for a veterinarian seeking genuine work-life balance while continuing to work with an interesting and varied caseload.
Working alongside experienced veterinarians, visiting specialists, and a skilled nursing team, you'll have plenty of opportunities to continue developing your clinical skills in a collaborative environment.
About the Role
This permanent part-time position involves 15 hours per week, working Mondays or Fridays plus one additional flexible weekday.
The practice offers a varied caseload including:
- Small animal consultations and surgery
- Emergency cases, including seasonal snake bite patients
- Dentistry
- Opportunities to work alongside visiting specialists
- Optional exposure to poultry and small cage birds for those with an interest
You'll usually work alongside another veterinarian with excellent nursing support, although occasional sole charge shifts may be required.

About You
- BVSc (or equivalent) with eligibility to practise in Australia
- 3+ years' clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Enjoys working collaboratively with nurses and the wider team
- Passionate about delivering excellent patient care and building lasting client relationships
- Interest in Fear Free handling or animal behaviour is advantageous
