A modern, forward-thinking veterinary practice is looking to bring on an Operational Billing Manager to support the day-to-day running of the clinic from an operational and client-facing perspective. This is a great opportunity for a strong VCA, RVN, or even a vet looking to step away from clinical work and move into a more business-focused, non-clinical role.

Location & Flexibility
Ideally, this role would be based full-time in London. However, there is flexibility for part-time and/or remote/hybrid working for the right candidate. It’s important to note that there would be an expectation to be based in London initially to get fully embedded in the role, with ongoing on-site presence required from time to time thereafter.

The Role
This position sits at the heart of the practice, supporting both the clinical team and clients through a mix of front-of-house and operational responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative running of the practice.

Key responsibilities include preparing estimates, managing invoicing and billing in real time, overseeing membership plans and discounts, and assisting with debt collection. Experience with systems such as Provet would be beneficial.

The Ideal Candidate
They are looking for someone highly organised, detail-oriented and confident in a client-facing environment. This would suit:

  • A strong VCA with front-of-house experience
  • A Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to step into a non-clinical role
  • A vet keen to move away from practice work into a more operational position

What’s on Offer

  • Salary in the region of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
  • Ideally full time but there is flexibility for part-time and/or remote working
  • A varied role combining client interaction with operational responsibility
  • A clear pathway into a non-clinical career within the veterinary industry

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys the veterinary environment but is looking to step into a non-clinical, operational role with real impact.
