Night Vet (Out-of-Hours)
7 nights on. 21 days off. Every cycle.
Work one week in four and keep the other three for yourself, without leaving clinical work behind.
A well-established small animal practice in Durham is looking for an Out-of-Hours Vet, and the numbers stack up:
Up to £44,000 for working around 90 nights a year
A day vet on the same salary is in 4-5 days a week
Accommodation available, so a move is easy or staying local during your week of work
Proper ECC, properly equipped. These aren't clock-watching nights. In-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, GI endoscopy, cystoscope and bronchoscope, so you can work cases up at 3am instead of holding them till morning.
Build your ECC skills. Surgery and medicine cert holders on the team, with real support towards your own certification.
Plus: annual CPD allowance, Health Shield, RCVS and two further memberships covered, VDS cover, enhanced parental pay, discounted vet fees, My Perks, Cycle to Work and company sick pay.
