We’re working with a well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital in East Yorkshire looking for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their ECC team.
The rota is a big part of the appeal here. You’ll work 7 nights on followed by 14 nights off, with shifts running from 7pm to 9am.
Clinically, this is a really strong setup. The hospital offers 24-hour inpatient care, separate dog, cat, exotic and isolation wards, three operating theatres, an in-house laboratory and extensive diagnostic facilities including ultrasound, Doppler, digital X-ray, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy and CT.
You’ll be managing emergency and hospitalised patients overnight, so they’re looking for an RCVS-registered vet with previous ECC experience who is comfortable making clinical decisions, working collaboratively and supporting the wider clinical team.

Based in East Yorkshire, this is a great option if you want the space and affordability of a more rural location without feeling cut off.
The practice sits within beautiful countryside, with the East Yorkshire coastline and North York Moors within easy reach, while Hull, Beverley, York, Leeds and Lincoln are all accessible.
For anyone relocating or with family further afield, Leeds Bradford Airport is just over an hour away, making UK and international travel straightforward, particularly useful when you’re working a 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota.
You can finish your working block and have two full weeks to actually go somewhere.
