An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Emergency and Critical Care to join a well-established, purpose-built veterinary hospital in Brighton.
This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a highly attractive night rota while working with a varied and challenging emergency caseload.
The role
You'll work 4 nights on, followed by 20 nights off, with shifts running from 7pm–9am.
This is a sole-charge role, but you won't be working alone. You'll be supported overnight by an experienced Night Nurse and Animal Nursing Assistant, with thorough handovers from the dedicated daytime team.
The hospital sees a diverse caseload from its own branches and surrounding practices, including medical, emergency and exotic patients.
There is also the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to cover holidays if desired.

You'll have access to an experienced wider clinical team and excellent facilities, with opportunities to develop your ECC knowledge and pursue further clinical interests.
On offer
- £32,500–£35,850, based on 16.38 hours per week
- 4 nights on, 20 nights off
- Shifts from 7pm–9am
- 6.6 weeks' holiday, including Bank Holidays
- £1,750 annual CPD allowance
- RCVS membership plus two additional professional memberships paid
- VDS cover
