Veterinary Surgeon – Mixed Practice

No two days the same — and that's the point.
If variety is why you got into this profession, this role delivers it. Consults and surgery in the morning, a farm visit, herd health or TB testing in the afternoon. The caseload runs roughly 70% small animal, 30% farm, with a touch of equine — a genuine mixed role for a vet who likes every skill kept sharp.
This is an ambitious, well-established practice in Ireland's sunny south east, freshly invested in facilities, kit and people, looking for an experienced clinician who can hit the ground running and help shape what comes next.
This is for you if you:
- Are VCI-registered with solid mixed first-opinion experience
- Are confident making independent clinical calls
- Hold a clean, valid driving licence
- Want a real say in a practice that's going places
A week built around you
40 hrs full-time (8:30–5:30 or 10:30–7:30), with part-time and flexible options open for discussion.
Fair, shared rota: 1 in 6 Saturdays (9–2:30, half-day TOIL) and 1 in 6 weekend on-call (full-day TOIL, shared with a neighbouring practice). Closed Sundays and bank holidays.
