This role would suit either an experienced mixed vet or a confident recent graduate looking to develop within a supportive and down to earth team environment. The practice is based in a beautiful village setting with the caseload spanning across the Glens of Antrim and North Coast, offering a fantastic lifestyle alongside varied clinical work.
The caseload is truly mixed, with a roughly 50/50 split between farm and small animal work. Farm work consists mainly of dairy, beef and sheep, with very little equine involved. The team offers a good level of clinical freedom and exposure, making it an excellent environment for someone wanting to continue building confidence across both disciplines.
The clinic is well equipped with in house small animal imaging and blood machines, IMV large animal scanners, TB handhelds and Ovacyte equipment.
The rota is designed with balance in mind, currently sitting at a flexible 1 in 6.
