Mixed Veterinary Surgeon- Established Modern Practice/ Good management team 

·         Up to £68,000 salary (DOE)

·         £5,000 relocation allowance

·         £5,000 welcome bonus 

Located in Keith, this veterinary practice is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. The practice is open to applicants interested in either small or large animals exclusively. The caseload comprises approximately 40% farm animal, 5% equine, and 55% small animal, providing a unique opportunity to gain experience across various disciplines. 

Key Responsibilities: 

·         Involvement in routine small animal consults, basic surgeries, farm and equine first opinion calls.

·         Opportunity to develop skills in areas of interest such as fertility, diagnostic imaging, herd health planning, and lameness. 

Rota: 

·         Flexible 4/5 day week with 40 hours considered full time.

·         Participation in the large animal out-of-hours rota, currently 1 in 5, with plans for growth.

·         Initial support provided for out-of-hours duties. 

About the Practice: 

·         Full Idexx lab suite and updated ultrasound for comprehensive case workup.

·         Proactive approach to large animal work, including fertility services and a robust base of pedigree and commercial stock.

·         Strong small animal client base with minimal exotics. 

Location: 

·         Short distance from the stunning Moray Coast.

·         An hour from the Cairngorms National Park and Aviemore for outdoor enthusiasts. 

Internal Flights: 

·         Regular flights from Inverness Airport to various destinations, providing convenient travel options.

·         Currently 11 Vets and a team of 7 Nurses supporting Small Animal Vets.
