80% Large Animal | 20% Small Animal | 1 in 4 weekends
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, progressive and well-established team.
This role offers an excellent balance of 80% Large Animal and 20% Small Animal work, providing variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships with both farming and companion animal clients.
The Role
- 1-in-4 weekend rota
- 80% Large Animal and 20% Small Animal work
- Varied large animal caseload including dairy, beef and sheep
- Herd health planning, fertility work, preventative medicine and routine farm veterinary services
- Opportunity to develop strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of farm services
- Manageable out-of-hours commitment with strong team support
- Solely large animal applicants may also be considered
About You
- Experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident working across large and small animal caseloads
- Passionate about delivering high standards of veterinary care
- Proactive approach to veterinary medicine
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Keen to develop clinical interests and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
Benefits Include
- €60,000–€70,000 salary, dependent on experience
- 1-in-4 weekend rota
