Mixed Practice Vet | Cavan | €Competitive
Real mixed work. Great team. One of Ireland's most underrated counties.
This is a 60/40 mixed role with a practice that has been doing things properly for years. If you are a few months post-graduation and ready to get your teeth into genuine mixed work, or an experienced vet who wants a strong caseload without the corporate noise, read on.
The work
Sixty percent large animal, forty percent small. The farm work is predominantly cattle and sheep, suckler and beef, the kind of caseload that keeps you sharp and gets you out on the road. Back at the clinic you have a fully equipped small animal practice with a solid team and a broad caseload from routine work through to emergency medicine.
1 in 4 weekends. Some OOH.
The package
Salary negotiated based on experience, plus:
- Enhanced annual leave
- Vehicle Allowance
- Employer pension contributions
- Generous CPD allowance
- Paid VCI/VDS + additional professional membership
- Enhanced family leave
- Real career progression
- And more
The location
Cavan does not get the credit it deserves. Lakes, hills, good food, a proper community feel. On the M3 and ninety minutes from Dublin, so you have the lifestyle without giving up your options.
