Mixed Veterinarian
Work alongside experienced veterinarians and a highly supportive nursing team in a well-established practice located in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW.
This opportunity is ideal for a Mixed Veterinarian, although candidates with a small animal-only focus are also encouraged to apply.
About the Role
- Diverse caseload within a mixed practice environment (approximately 85% small animal and 15% large animal)
- Opportunity to focus on areas of clinical interest
- Work alongside a team of 3 experienced veterinarians and 12 supportive nurses
- One on-call night per week and one weekend in four (Friday–Sunday), shared equally across the team
- 35-hour work week with strong support and mentorship available
The Practice
- Purpose-built facility with in-house pathology, digital radiography, and ultrasound
- Strong relationships within the local community, wildlife, and welfare organisations
- Supportive leadership team with opportunities for long-term career progression and future leadership development
About You
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Previous veterinary practice experience
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
