Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established, independently owned mixed practice in South East Queensland that is seeking a Veterinarian to join their growing team.

The Role
This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available to allow for a smooth transition into the team. The role offers excellent variety, with the ability to tailor your workload to your preferred species split.
You will be involved in consultations, routine and more advanced surgeries, medical case workups, and emergency care. The practice encourages clinical autonomy while providing strong team support and access to referral hospitals and visiting specialists.
The Practice
This is a true mixed practice with a strong reputation in the local community, operating across two modern, purpose-built clinics. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of experienced vets and nurses, working in a positive, team-focused environment with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality patient care.
Location
Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim region, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of lifestyle and career—just an hour from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, yet surrounded by stunning countryside, mountains, and a relaxed pace of life.
About You
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in mixed, equine, or small animal practice (recent graduates also considered)
- Confident in general practice with a willingness to develop skills further
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Keen to embrace a varied caseload and get involved in all aspects of practice life

- Salary from $80,000 – $130,000 + super (depending on experience)
