An exciting full-time opportunity is available in Dannevirke for a mixed animal veterinarian with a special interest in the dairy sector. The role is predominantly production animal work, with small animal duties included, as well as participation in the after-hours roster.
You will be joining a supportive team of two other veterinarians and one casual, with a new graduate potentially joining in 2027.
We are looking for someone who has:
5+ years’ experience in mixed or production animal practice
Experience with dairy farming systems
Confidence in small animal work
A strong commitment to client service and a professional attitude
Ability to work independently in a busy environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships
Willingness to participate in after-hours duties
