The Practice
This well-established, NZVA Best Practice® Accredited veterinary group operates across five modern clinics throughout Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Te Puna and Katikati, providing high-quality companion animal, production animal, equine and lifestyle services.
You'll work alongside an experienced and collaborative team with access to excellent facilities, including:
- Purpose-built clinics
- In-house laboratory (CBC, biochemistry & Imagyst)
- Digital radiography
- Dental radiography
- Ultrasonography
- Access to CT & MRI services
- Referral medical and surgical support
The Role
You'll enjoy a varied workload across both companion and large animal practice, with flexibility to tailor your caseload around your interests.
The role includes:
- Mixed Animal practice with an emphasis on large animal work
- Variety of medical and surgical cases
- Shared after-hours/on-call rota across a large veterinary team
- Strong clinical support and collaboration
- Excellent mentoring from an experienced production and mixed animal veterinarian with over 30 years' experience
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys the diversity that mixed practice brings and values working within a friendly, supportive team.
Ideally you'll have:
- Experience in large animal medicine for production, lifestyle and small farms
- Good companion animal medical and surgical skills
- Around 2+ years' experience preferred (newer graduates with the right attitude will also be considered)
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, team-focused approach
- Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
