This is not a standard pet care role. It is a hands on, demanding position where consistency, attention to detail and the right attitude are key. The household has four large, well cared for dogs that require structured routines, confident handling and high standards of care at all times.
Based primarily on a private estate in Zurich, with travel to the Swiss mountains and south of France, this role offers a unique lifestyle alongside responsibility.
The Role
Daily walking and structured exercise routines
Preparing meals, administering medication and monitoring well being
Grooming, cleaning and maintaining equipment
Supporting mobility and general physical care where needed
Handling and moving large dogs safely around the property
Keeping clear, consistent communication with the household team
About You
Confident handling large breeds through either professional or personal experience
Physically fit and resilient, this is an active and demanding role
Reliable, discreet and able to work to high standards within a private household
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow routines precisely
Previous experience within a private household or in a similar role would be highly desirable, although a proactive, capable attitude is equally important.
Must hold a European or Irish passport

Salary up to €55,000
2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation
Accommodation provided within walking distance of the estate
All travel and flights covered
