Lloyd & Cowan is a specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy who are delighted to be representing an established Modern Practice based in the Grays area of Essex who are actively recruiting a Lead Veterinary Surgeon.
The Position:
Ensure all team members provide quality and ethical care to all clients and their pets
Assess and examine and diagnose patients’ medical issues
Perform surgery, dress and treat wounds
Perform diagnostic laboratory, imaging and ultrasound testing where required
Prescribe medication
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures
The Role:
The successful candidate will be a driven, dynamic, ambitious individual with exceptional communication skills.
Looking for someone with at least 2 years of UK (or UK equivalent) small animal experience who practices to a very high standard using an evidence based approach.
There are partnership opportunities available for the right individual, so an interest/experience in business and leadership is also desirable.
This role covers 40 hours a week, spread across 4 working days per week, providing great work-life balance. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.
Full time salary package up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
