Lead Veterinarian – Relocate to the Sunshine Coast
$10k relocation/sign-on bonus available | $130K–$160K + bonus schemes
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinarian to step into a Lead Vet role on the Sunshine Coast.
Escape the colder months and enjoy life in Coolum, a relaxed beachside community with around 300 days of sunshine per year, 52km of coastline, and average winter temperatures of 21°C. Just an hour from Brisbane, it offers the perfect balance of coastal lifestyle and convenience.
This boutique-style clinic is part of a wider group, with a strong focus on meaningful community impact rather than daily quotas. You’ll join a close-knit team and lead a small group consisting of one other vet and 2–3 nurses, supported by a Practice Manager and Relationship Manager.
The role offers a varied caseload across consulting, surgery, and leadership, with a 4-day work week (38 hours). No after-hours or on-call is required.
About You
Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent recognised in Australia)
Experience in a senior GP or surgical role (leadership experience highly regarded)
Strong communication skills and a calm, compassionate approach
Confident in clinical decision-making with good time management
Team-focused with developing or established leadership skills
