We’re seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Internal Medicine Veterinarian to join a highly regarded referral hospital in the beautiful city of Newcastle, NSW!

With ongoing growth, this is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build or expand a specialist internal medicine service in a collaborative and well-resourced setting.

About the Hospital
This fully independent, 24/7 referral hospital brings together a large team of veterinary professionals across surgery, internal medicine, rehabilitation and more - all working under one roof in a truly collaborative environment.

They’ve had an exciting expansion and have moved into a brand-new, purpose-built, custom-designed facility.

Facilities include:

  • 8 consult rooms, 2 surgical theatres & dedicated ICU

  • CT, ultrasound, otoscopy & full in-house lab

  • Separate wards for cats, exotics, and infectious cases

  • On-site pharmacy

  • Spacious staff areas with kitchen, massage chair & lactation/parents’ room

About You:

  • Veterinary degree recognised for registration in NSW (e.g. BVSc, DVM)

  • Board-certified OR residency-trained in internal medicine

  • A clinician who values integrity, teamwork, and high-quality care

  • Someone ready to contribute to a growing, collaborative service
