Lloyd & Cowan is a Specialist Veterinary Recruitment Consultancy, and we are working closely with a purpose-built Independent Veterinary Practice in Southampton, who are seeking to appoint a Head Veterinary Surgeon- Small Animal Vet.
Modern Practice & exciting time to join as continue to build a strong client base and establish within the local area. A large number of clients are insured, and we see a variety of pets. Supportive team is made up of Certificate Holder, experienced Veterinary Team.
The role:
Drive clinical agenda, whilst also taking responsibility for driving excellence in customer service and clinical care, promoting pet wellbeing, delivering preventive services and treating sick and injured pets.
This role has a specific focus on enhancing specific clinical procedures, increasing the credibility of the practice and upskilling colleagues in order to become a centre of excellence.
Job duties & information:
Develop opportunities as a credible external referral centre.
Dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with solid skills.
Ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
Comfortable with a mixture of consults and surgery
Drive clinical direction and mentor.
You will be a strong team player.
Develop within your own area of interest.
Requirement:
RCVS registration
Experience both medically and surgically
Strong communication skills will be required
Remuneration:
Competitive salary up to £70,000.00
