A genuinely exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced RVN to step into a Head Veterinary Nurse position at a brand-new, purpose-built practice in London.
This is not a tired clinic needing someone to steady the ship. It is a fresh start, with a new team, outstanding facilities and the chance to help shape the nursing culture from day one.
The practice is due to open to the public from the week commencing 24th August and has been designed to deliver a modern, high-quality experience for patients, clients and the clinical team.
The practice
The site includes:
Eight consultation rooms, including a dedicated cat-only consult room and the St Francis Suite
Two operating theatres and a separate orthopaedic theatre
A double dental theatre
Dedicated X-ray and ultrasound rooms
Large separate dog and cat wards
Separate small furry and reptile wards
A spacious reception area with dedicated seating zones for dogs, cats and small furries
A CT scanning unit planned for installation in early 2027

The Head Nurse role
You will lead the nursing team, support the smooth running of the practice and play a key part in building the standards, culture and clinical approach from the outset.
The business is a strong advocate for nurses working to the full extent of their qualifications, so this is a role where you can genuinely use your skills rather than being limited to routine inpatient care.

Dentistry
Radiography
Nurse consultations

This role would suit an ambitious, experienced RVN who enjoys leading from the front, developing others and helping create a positive, high-performing team.
Package
Basic salary of £42,000
Monthly recognition payment based on performance
£2,000 relocation allowance, payable after the 12-week review
£1,500 golden hello, payable at the end of the five-month probation period
£1,500 golden thank you, payable after 18 months
