A genuinely exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced RVN to join a brand new purpose built veterinary clinic opening in West London in August 2026.
This is a rare chance to step into a true leadership role from day one, helping shape the nursing team, clinical standards and culture within a modern, highly invested clinic environment.
The new site is set to become one of the standout clinics within the area, with impressive facilities including:
- CT scanner & advanced imaging
- Dedicated orthopaedic theatre
- 4 operating theatres
- Separate dental and imaging suites
- 8 consult rooms
- Spacious prep and ward areas
- Modern in house diagnostics
As Head Nurse, you’ll lead and support the nursing team while remaining heavily involved clinically. You’ll oversee inpatient care, theatre standards, nurse consults and day to day workflow, while helping build a positive and collaborative team culture from the beginning.
The clinic is keen to create an environment where nurses are fully utilised and genuinely valued, with strong support for Schedule 3 procedures, development and progression.
This role would suit an experienced RVN who enjoys leadership, mentoring others and maintaining high clinical standards within a progressive practice environment.
The rota offers a strong work life balance with a 4 day week and structured weekend rota, alongside flexibility where possible.
Located in South West London, the clinic offers excellent transport links while still being close to greener residential areas and a more relaxed suburban lifestyle.
