A thriving Veterinary Practice in Aylsham is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Small Animal Vet or Clinical Director to lead and inspire their team.
This opportunity is perfect for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for mentoring, leadership, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing a team to deliver superior client and clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and nurture a friendly, close-knit team
· Implement ongoing improvements and effective processes
· Conduct meetings and clinical audits with the support of a Practice Manager
· Provide exceptional customer care to local loyal clients
· Mix of operations and consultation days, with flexibility in scheduling
The Role:
· The role involves up to 40 hours per week (negotiable) with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, ensuring a healthy work-life balance with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments.
· The practice prides itself on providing 15-minute consultations to ensure the best possible care for its patients.
Requirements:
· Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for leadership and mentorship
· Ability to drive practice growth and implement effective processes
· Experience in promoting and developing colleagues
· Good knowledge of practice financial stability and growth
· Desire to maintain clinical skills while developing leadership and business management abilities
