Graduate Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal or Mixed)

About the Practice:

An Independent Practice with a rich history is seeking a dedicated Small Animal Graduate or Mixed Graduate to join their team in the Newcastle area. The practice is committed to providing top-quality, modern medicine and surgery. Situated close to excellent transport links, city centre, countryside, and the coast, it offers an ideal location for a fulfilling career.

The position:

  • Full-time positions available for 4 or 5 days

  • One night on call per week (with support from another Vet)

  • 1 Saturday morning in 3 (one of these will be part of the full weekend on call every 6 weeks)

  • 1 full weekend on call every 6 weeks (with no night on call the following week and a Friday or Monday off to make a long weekend)

  • Must have a driving license

  • Bank holiday cover equally shared

  • Starting salary for New Graduates: £34,500 for 4 days or £39,000 for 5 days
