We're working with a warm, well-established small animal practice in East Maitland, just outside Newcastle, that loves developing early-career vets. Led by a Veterinary Director who is passionate about teaching, this is a place where you can find your feet, build your confidence and never feel like you're on your own.

- Time to think and learn, with 20-minute consults and 40-minute extended consults, plus dedicated admin time built into your day, so you're never rushed off your feet
- A varied caseload across medicine, surgery and dentistry to build your skills, with the chance to get into exotics too (reptiles, birds, pocket pets and wildlife) if that interests you
- Emergencies referred out, so you won't be thrown in at the deep end
Looking after you:
- No on-call, no Sundays and no bank holidays, so a healthy work-life balance from the start
- Full or part-time (minimum 3 days), on 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, with only 1 in 4 Saturdays

- $2,000 CPD allowance and 5 days' paid study leave to support your development
