A high-quality veterinary hospital in Seattle is seeking a full-time veterinarian to help develop and lead a skilled medical team. This position focuses on delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative environment built on trust, teamwork, and accountability. The role reports to the Regional Manager and partners closely with the Hospital Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and diagnostics.
Clearly communicate medical findings, treatment plans, and recommended procedures to pet owners.
Perform surgeries with proper techniques and oversee diagnostic test results.
Maintain accurate, detailed medical records in accordance with AAHA standards.
Promote teamwork and assist staff with daily operations as needed.
Accurately estimate client invoices and communicate costs effectively.
Engage in continuing education and support staff training and development.
Qualifications:
DVM from an accredited college and a current State Veterinary License.
DEA registration is required.
Minimum of 5 years of veterinary practice experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
Compensation:
Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 USD, plus performance-based bonuses.
