Our client, a full-service veterinary hospital on Nantucket, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This is a rare chance to enjoy a truly unique lifestyle while making a meaningful impact in a welcoming, community-rooted practice.
The Role:
You’ll provide a mix of wellness and sick appointments, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics, all while building lasting relationships with pet families.
The caseload includes dogs, cats, and exotics, offering excellent variety and opportunities to expand your skills. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, client-focused, and committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
About You:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree
Active state veterinary license in good standing (or eligibility)
DEA license (or eligibility)
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
About the Hospital
This full-service hospital offers urgent care, wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and even alternative therapies like acupuncture. Serving Nantucket year-round, the hospital is equipped with advanced technology and provides exceptional care for cats, dogs, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and more.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm - no late nights or weekends.
