Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment is working with a welcoming farm animal practice in Cornwall, seeking an experienced Farm Vet to join its small, supportive team.
Based close to Cornwall’s coastline and moorland, this role offers clinical freedom, varied farm work and time to enjoy life outside practice.
The Role
Work with a progressive client base across dairy, beef and sheep farms, supported by experienced ATTs and vet techs. With minimal TB testing commitments, you can focus on clinical cases, herd health and advisory work, with encouragement to develop your own interests.
Strong client relationships are central to the practice, with regular farmer training meetings and involvement in local and national initiatives.
Working Pattern

Full-time preferred, with flexible working arrangements considered

Typical hours of 8.30am–5pm

Approximately 1:5 on-call rota for 10 months of the year

Dedicated out-of-hours vet covering around half of the OOH workload

Half day following a night on call

Full day off in lieu following a worked weekend
