Farm Veterinary Surgeon | Cornwall | £45,000–£55,000 DOE
An established farm veterinary team in the Cornish countryside is looking to welcome an experienced Farm Vet to their friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vet looking for genuine work-life balance, clinical freedom and the chance to enjoy everything the Cornish coast and countryside has to offer.
You'll be joining a small, farm-only team supported by experienced ATTs and Vet Techs, working with a varied and progressive client base across dairy, beef and sheep farms.
The role covers all aspects of progressive farm veterinary work, with plenty of opportunity to develop individual clinical interests. Thanks to an experienced ATT team, TB testing commitments are kept to a minimum, allowing Vets to focus more on clinical and advisory work.
One thing that really stands out about this opportunity is the rota. A dedicated OOH Vet covers around half of the out-of-hours work, with the remaining rota averaging approximately 1:5 for most of the year.
The role:
Full-time, with flexible working considered
Typical hours of 8:30am–5:00pm
Approximate 1:5 rota for 10 months of the year
Half day following a night on call
Full TOIL day following a worked weekend
Minimal TB testing
Support for individual clinical interests

Salary £45,000–£55,000 DOE
6.6 weeks annual leave
£1,750 CPD allowance
£2,500 CPD allowance for advanced qualifications
