An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Equine Veterinarian to join a passionate and enthusiastic team based in Awapuni, Manawatū.
This is a 100% equine position focused on sport and recreational horses, with involvement in after-hours equine care and race day duties as required. The role is primarily ambulatory, with access to clinic facilities for equine work when needed.
You will be joining a collaborative equine team consisting of five other veterinarians.
We are looking for someone who has:
5+ years’ experience in equine practice
Experience working with sport and recreational horses
A strong passion for the equine industry
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
Strong time management and organisational skills
A commitment to delivering a high standard of professional veterinary care
Willingness to participate in an equine after-hours roster and race day duties
