This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an incredible team of specialists in surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and critical care - while gaining exposure to a broad range of complex and rewarding cases.

About You:

  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse with at least 2 years’ experience; ER experience is a bonus.

  • Confident delivering high-quality patient care, with excellent communication skills.

  • Reliable and flexible, happy to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

  • Team player with a genuine passion for animals and client care.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient handling, monitoring, and triage according to hospital protocols

  • Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and collect samples

  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist in surgery

  • Monitor anaesthetics and support urgent/emergency cases

  • Client communication, follow-up, and discharge guidance

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control

  • Support other clinical team members as required

Hours & Schedule:

  • 75–80 hours per fortnight

  • Shifts are arranged with work-life balance in mind, rostered up to 2 months in advance

  • Includes two full weekends per month
