As an Emergency Veterinarian, you’ll join a highly respected emergency and specialty hospital situated in beautiful Albuquerque, a location known for its vibrant culture, breathtaking desert landscape, and year-round outdoor adventure.
About the Role
You’ll work within a modern, multi-specialty hospital supported by specialists in neurology, surgery, dermatology, behavioural medicine, and advanced imaging. The facility is equipped with CT, MRI, ultrasound, digital radiography, an in-house lab, and the capability for emergency surgery and critical care at all hours.
Your responsibilities will include triaging emergencies, developing treatment plans, managing overnight and weekend hospitalized cases, communicating clearly with clients and referring veterinarians, and participating in daily specialist rounds. The focus here is on teamwork, professional respect, and a culture grounded in learning and clinical excellence.
